Red n' black

So I was trying on all the dresses there is in the house, specifically Nina's this time.
Keep in mind: last days of freedom before school.
I go to Adrian to button up, and then model around for myself. Soon enough he had taken out boots and high heels, convinced that he'd make me look funny. Alright then!
I didn't allow it. But he still had fun, going up and down the stairs with those boots must've been a sight! I'm rather clumsy.

The rain

I stood at the edge of the cliff with the rain pouring down on me. I looked out at the violent waves. In the safe piece of land I'm on, the flowers are shaken and bent. My precious flowers, that I care so much for, they're being destroyed. And my thin trees are swayed in dismay by the wind's currents.
This rain only makes me want to cry. How will this place of mine end after the storm?
I blinked into the sea's horizon with tears and rain streaming down my face.
Then I see. And it made my heart stop.
The rain, heavy and careless was shaping the features of the only one I can ever trust fully and completely.
I could see the shape of His face, the silhouette of his body. I couldn't understand how, but the rain is Him.
His hands formed by rain reached out to me, they brushed my cheeks and I heard: "It washes away those tears".
Then nothing could make more sense. He was with me. He was in control of everything.
I know Him, He isn't careless, insensitive, cruel or mocking. All His dreams I want to make mine, they're worth fighting toward and attaining. And He cares about mine, He takes them into consideration when He does anything. He makes sure I'm as happy as I can be, that I learn and grow and get stronger. Whatever happens, He has the best for me.
And the rain just shows how deep and all-encompasing His love really is.

I'll tell you something

I'm in love.

Some other little & odd details about me:
I look for the moon almost everynight.
I purposley step on dry leaves, the crunchiness just thrills me.
I love to sleep in fresh and clean sheets.
I can suddenly start dancing salsa without any music.
I enjoy spending time in my rooftop.
I doubt I can live without my watch.
I wash my hands whenever I feel them dirty.
There is a certain red bird that makes me smile a few centimeters wider.
I'm severly tickelish.

A persistent thought

We just can't take life for granted.

Recently I've been thinking a lot more of what I'd want to do, trying to imagine where and how.
I found myself planning out what I'd want to do then, in the future, when I'm older.
Of course, I know its good to have an idea of what you want in life so that you know whether you're getting there or not.
But really, I have absolutely no idea what will happen to me. I could easily be gone tomorrow. Am I gonna rely on the future to do the things I want to do? The things I know I should do?

Summer dear -the smile machine

Today:

Guiltless and delicious.
Minutes later, I accidently threw the ball at her...and it hit the ice cream.
She forgave me. How I love her!

To live life to the utmost

(Jesus:) Your life.
That's one. Think about the thousands of others. The lives of people that are presently on this Earth. Lives born, growing and coming to an end.
If you had a chance to talk to the oldest man on Earth, he could tell you that from all the he has seen and experienced, life is short.
If you look closely into that statement, there lies the secret to enjoy life and live it to the utmost.
Life on Earth is uncertain, fragile, for everyone that goes through it.
You can't be sure about your own life or that of others.
When it comes to it, you don't own anything, not even yourself.
The way to gain is by giving; and the way to truly live is to never stop giving.
If you can learn to enjoy every minute, treasure every moment, make the most out of everything you do, and tackle each day with love in your heart that is shared and spread, then you will have lived a life worth living! A full and rich life.
It doesn't take perfection: perfect conditions and surroundings, perfect loves and friends, a perfect family and a perfect past, perfect feelings of happiness and success, or a perfect will to take you through it all.
Nobody has these perfect things, and I didn't intend for you to have them in order to live a great life.
The greatness in life lies elsewhere. The key is in your heart, at every person's reach.
In you heart I have placed needs, dreams and desires, hopes and longings. I have given you the ability to love beyond what is humanly possible. I have placed a desire to find happiness and a craving for success. And these things are really out there. I'm not a cruel God.
To enjoy life, to live it grandly, stretch and give!
If you feel you have nothing to give, you can look a little closer and see that you can give of what you have. I have placed love in your heart and that is the main reason to live, to love.
