Writing again

I have been reading blogs (wonderful ones!), but I haven't been writing as much.
I don't know you, but I read blogs as a breather, to remember that I'm not the only one feeling this or that way, and it's such a reassuring, refreshing feeling. And I'm also enriched by people's stories, particularly when they're daring enough to show who they really are and what they really go through. Those are the people that I love reading!

So now that I look at my blog, I want to make it such a place. I want to write again. And I haven't been writing because my mind says "I don't have time", but my heart says "You have to write." Because when writing my story I know I'll realize things that I hadn't seen before, and when I write little preachings I know that they're for me and that sharing them with you makes me more accountable than if I didn't. I'll remember more. I'll remember His love more because it's present all around me but sometimes I go so fast through life that I fail to notice, writing things down is a way of going slower. And I know there'll be times, I already feel it, when I'll feel like I want to write the world but I can't seem to find enough time. But that's okay, I'll still write as much as I can.

And you know what? My hope is that in these lines, in these scrolling downs you'll find more of God's love in your own life. Because that's honestly what I always want to see; I think that's what determines everything: who we are, how we think, feel, act, what we do and where we end up. To me it's all comes down to what we do about His love. Not how much of it there is 'cause there's an endless supply, rather how much we take in!

I'm confident that His love is what will take me through anything. But when life hits, I freak out and I need His hand to tenderly take me back to that place where I know who I am, who I belong to and who is in control, and He always does it the best way. I don't want to forget what He's done or miss what He's teaching me because I wasn't attentive enough. I want to sing a song to His goodness, yet the one who is healed when singing is... me.

A bit of me

I've been waiting for inspiration to hit me, to crash into me and overflow! Since that hasn't happened whatsoever, I post what inspired people have to say. But now, I found out it helps to smile when you write something (big grin).
I like writing about the good, upbeat thoughts that go through my head. If I write about the negative ones, well everyone already has those... And I have too many of those.
Mostly this blog is a reminder to me, of all the good, great, beautiful things in life that are out there, in here, all over.
It's not that I don't realize the bad, ugly, wrong things. But I want to find the good. All the reasons to be glad. The reasons to smile. The reasons to keep living. The reasons to keep loving.
Life is tough across the board.
I want to learn how to live it, with a smile.
So many of the things I post here are really for me, or things that have helped me.

Like a kiss, a walk in the rain (try to not get sick afterwards, mom's warning echos in my head, you can't let her think she's right this time), a ray of sunlight through your window (simple), a chubby and cute face that tells you they love you (you are loved), a bite of somthing yummy (fill your fridge), a surprizing happenenig (Hmmm, some things you can control, others not really). But what could really make me happy is knowing I could make you smile. I'll try my hardest. Love you whoever!

I think I want to change my blog's skin.

Something to share

A teenage bride has a lot to say. She might talk about the sunset, or make you think happy, fresh thoughts once more; she could spend the day letting you know how much she loves the man, and then another time, wear a confused expression of sorts.
In my case, being a teenager and a bride makes everything more beautiful. As a teen, rough spots seem to multiply, rainy days are many, and it feels like your own heart is exposed to the fury of the elements -which can be either pleasant or terrifying.
As a bride, I have ambitions in life, access to places of untold wonder, love that will last forever, and the assurance of One that will never leave me, not even till the world crashes to it´s end.
(...That´s an interesting mind picture, of course I don´t believe that will actually happen to the world... you never know though. Please don´t mention anything to paranoid freaks that happen to live around)
